This year’s Certified Transportation Network (CTN) conference took us half way around the world to the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, also known as the Teardrop of India, Sri Lanka.
Paul Glionna, Vice President – Systems Development & Operations and Mark Glionna, Vice President – Client Relations & Business Development, travelled to Colombo, Sri Lanka and met with over 50 companies from around the globe. “Meeting in person with our freight forwarding agent partners from all corners of the world gives us a unique understanding and perspective of local markets and conditions that affect international trade. We use these valuable insights to enhance our operations and to share with our clients,” says Mark Glionna.
Universal Logistics was recognized and awarded as one of CTN’s Top Contributors. Paul Glionna commented, “Working closely with our reliable CTN partners has helped strengthen our client relationships, especially over the past 2 years where, together, we have navigated through a severely disrupted supply chain.”
